This is the one written to be given rather than hung by the person who made it. The nine lines are the ones that survive being said to a child for twenty years — “Choose kindness”, “Keep your promises”, “Help without being asked” — and the two that did not fit run vertically up the edges, which is Heirloom's own trick and the reason it looks like something already framed. “Turn mistakes into lessons” is the line that earns its place; it is the only one that admits something will go wrong. The palette cycles through muted gold, sage and tan without anyone choosing it, so “Dream big” lands in green purely because of where it falls in the list. Nothing on this poster was formatted by hand, which is the point — it is what the style does when you give it good words.
