Man cave

MAN CAVE RULES

The trick with a joke poster is not to look like one. Every line here is funny and none of them is winking: “Touch the thermostat and die” is a threat, “The remote has an owner” is a fact, and “One beer means four” is a confession — which is why the design puts that one in the reversed band and lets it be the loudest thing in the room. The list gets more honest as it goes down. “Confidence beats competence” explains most of what happens in a garage, and “Facts improve after midnight” is the last line because by then nobody is checking. Colour Block in chalk keeps it deadpan: no beer bottles, no neon, no novelty script — just serious type saying unserious things, which is the only way this kind of joke survives being framed.
